The Zoo, the Amusement Park (Vid??m Park) and the Great Circus offers fun for both young and old every day. Two stone elephants guard the main entrance of the Zoo where you buy tickets. The real ones live in a ceramic roofed oriental house inside the park.

Bigger kids can have a good time in the neighbouring Transport Museum and see the history of transport from ancient times until today or in the Planet??rium (N?Špliget, Metro No. 3 line, N?Špliget station). Teenagers will love the special sounds and light performances to the music of Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Mike Oldfield and Genesis in the evening hours. Tickets are available before the show.
Beside the City Zoo and another small zoo on Margit Island animal lovers, can find a Game Park in Budapest. The Budakeszi Vadaspark is in the Buda Hills, 20 minutes drive from Moszkva t?Šr, one of the main traffic centres in Buda. Bus No. 22 takes you from there to the Fodor Szanat??rium stop, a 20 minute walk away to the right (follow the signs) is the entrance. No cars are allowed. Deer, wild boar, mouflon and fox can all be seen here. A marked nature trail (5 km or 3 miles) from the entrance takes you to all the above listed animals.
