SAILING IN THE FOCUS!
The “keel” of this year’s exhibition is the sailing boat world, Budapest Boat Show’s emphasized guest and vocational partner is the Hungarian Sailing Association.
PROGRAMS OF THE EVENT:
4. March: Exclusive vocational day (for visitors arriving with an invitation exclusively)
Péter Hónig traffic, communications and energy case minister, the patron of the exhibition opens Budapest Boat Show.
5. March: Seafaring day
Those with a ship driver licence may attend this day free of charge.
6. March: Champions’ day
V. HUNGEXPO Cup kayak ergometer championship.
7. March: SAILING DAY
Round-a-clock programs on the stage, talks with previous champions and with competitors.
“How may I start sailing?” Lectures, summer camps, popularisation of associations and sail schools dealing with children, emphasized appearance for the new generation.
Presentation of the Olimpic preparation program popularisation of junior competitors.
LITTLE SHIP, BIG ADVENTURE
Áron Méder went round the Earth with his six-metre-long boat CARINA (39 year old) and Áron (29 year old) has affected 40 country under the 3 years, covered 30 000 nautical mile (55 000 km), on three oceans, and on an a dozen of sea.
Áron Méder’s newer record is expected on Boat Show: never surrounded Carina and Him that many ships yet on a mainland, as at Budapest Boat Show at pavilion G.
