As established in the past years, the second weekend of May is once again the date of the Budapest Palinka Festival. This year the City Hall Park (Vásrosháza Park) will host this one of a kind event. More than 300 types of fruit distillates, savoury food specialities and excellent live music awaits all those who wish to relax and enjoy themselves in the heart of the city.
This year the fourth edition of the Budapest Palinka Festival will be held between the 7-10th of May. The festival is the venue where the finest spirits will be showcased, made by the very best of the major Hungarian Palinka destillers. Also present will be some of the most unique smaller, family run businesses with traditional flavours, award winning and limited edition products.
If you are interested in the world of Palinka making and the mastery of the distillers or simply enjoy a good conversation next to an excellent drink, than this is the place for you! With more than 300 different produce of Palinka, the offer is unparalleled. Even though the so called Hungarian Palinka Law strictly describes what is to be called “Palinka” the organisers did not wish to limit the products on offer only to those bevarages that satisfy the legal wording.
