Liszt always supported the Hungarian culture as a performer and especially as a composer.
His music was present at almost every important Hungarian event.
The exhibition highlites the compositions which were created in Budapest: the Coronation Mass, the Ode for St. Cecile the melodrama Des toten Dichters Liebe, the Via Crucis, or the Symphonic Poem „The Battle of Huns” which was finished and performed or the first time here.
He gave lots of benefit concerts and held concerts at his Hungarian poets, writers and artists   friends saloon as Munkácsy or Jókai.
The exhibition presents Liszt’s ecclesiastical acquaintances as well.
The exhibition on the ground floor  introduces Liszt’s relationships in Hungary.
Liszt understood the Hungarian language and didn’t need an interpreter.
Among the documents there is beautiful guestbook of the nonnes with the signature of Liszt. 
The Visitors can buy a beautiful book in English and Hungarian language: “Following Franz Liszt’s footsteps in Budapest”.
