The facility is equipped with wax figures and contemporary furniture.
Walking in the rooms of the hospital visitors can discover the war-time  conditions and the tools of the cold-war times in their original conditions.
This is the only museum in Hungary -besides the House of Terror - which shows the events of 1945 and 1956 in their original environments.
Under the siege in 1945 this was the defenders’ last hospital and plenty of wounded were treated here in terrible conditions.
It’s function was the same in 1956.
The hospital had been reckoned modern during the ‘60 and it’s equipment has remained to this days.
The machinery still operates and fulfils it’s task.
Wax figures bring to life the war conditions and the military treatments.
The German Hungarian command post was near the hospital in the caves and the hospital was enlarged with this feature in 2009.
The civil defence equipments of the cold-war as gas masks, chemical defence equipments or preparations for the treatment of
radiaton sickness are the memento of the period.
Visitors can take a time journey to a weird period of the 20th century.

Much less use of car in Budapest

Cars in Budapest
The Median Institute has made a representative survey and asked 2400 people about their car usage and car repair habits.
Half of the asked car owners took more than 10 thousand kms with car in 2010,this year only 44 percent of them do the same.In 2010 the drivers of the capital drove the most,in 2012 the rural residents make more kms by car.
Men travel by car more than women, and as appropriate, people with better backgrounds more than those with less incomes.
The about five year old cars are used the most but there are many very old car to do 11 thousand kms in a year.
According to Median, car owners make repair their car less and less in brand services, because of the aging of the cars and because the number of the cars without guarantee have significantly reduced.
However the number of the home repairing have slightly increased.
