Gundel is the greatest name in Hungarian gastronomy. K??roly Gundel, owner of the place from 1910, made his restaurant an isle of gourmets. He was not an excellent chief but a good writer as well, his cookery books are translated into many languages.
The Gundel, using the old name, offers specialities of Hungarian cuisine which are still prepared according to the original, carefully preserved Gundel recipes.
